Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Newly renovated 2 bedroom and 1 full bath cottage in a 55 plus neighborhood (one guest must be 55 and no more than 4 guests total). Set on a tree lined street with a community solar heated pool, pickle ball and tennis court, shuffleboard and plenty of wide streets to walk or ride a bike. There is a night time gate guard at the entrance of the neighborhood. Two comfortable bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and the other with 2 X-long twins comfortable for 4 adults. The kitchen has all new appliances and plenty of utensils to cook with.

Friendly and quiet neighborhood within the city of Gainesville, FL. The 700 acre Four Creeks Reserve borders the south side of the neighborhood where walking/hiking is permitted. Gainesville and the University of Florida is 6 miles south. Walmart, CVS, Publix, restaurants are 2 miles away. 45 minutes to 7 miles of Flagler's sandy beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Disney, Epcot, Universal all in Orlando are 2 hrs. away and a manageable day trip.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Turkey Creek Forest neighborhood is close to all that Gainesville and the greater Florida area has to offer. The famous UF Butterfly Atrium, Bat house on Lake Alice, Paynes Prairie State Park, several wonderful natural springs like Gennie Springs great for tubing on a warm day, the Florida coast is about 45 minutes to either Cedar Key (Gulf of Mexico) or Flagler Beach (Atlantic Ocean). The UF Phillips Center for Performing Arts, Depot Park, Blueberry picking (April/May), Sunflower festival archeological digs, unique restaurants, farmer's markets, coffee roasters, eclectic breweries (4 local, and Mad Cow Brewery is 3 miles north) and 10 minutes to I-75 which runs from the Georgia state border to south Florida.
