Es un entorno rural, desde la casa se puede salir a hacer senderismo. Está muy cerca de una autopista (ni se ve ni se oye desde la casa), que permite ir a ciudades importantes como Gijón u Oviedo en menos de 30', pero también a muchas playas o montañas.
