We are a Christian family of three, looking for a long-term swap near my parents in the Hunter Valley, NSW Australia. We have visited them many times and usually stay with them on their farm. However, we would like to give them a break from spoiling us this time as both are struggling with a few health issues. We are new to home exchange but keen to explore the possibilities. Being a little apprehensive about the process, we would take great care of your home and treat it as if it were our own. We are a small family of 3- tidy, respectful and responsible. Most of our days will be spent with my parents, helping them on their farm and visiting old haunts from my childhood.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home is spacious and light, with stunning rural views from every window. The conservatory looks out onto old English Oaks and abundant wildlife - red squirrels, roe deer, pheasants, foxes and hares. Many species of birds can be seen in the nearby wood.
Although the area is tranquil and quiet, we have the best of both worlds with excellent road and rail links on our doorstep. So access to town, Lake District National Park and major cities is easy and convenient. London is a few hours away by rail while Scotland is a stones-throw away by road/rail.
Our home is cosy, and welcoming with all mod cons.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Don`t forget to explore the grand manor houses on our doorstep including Hutton-in-the-Forest and Dalemain House. `Theatre By the Lake` at Keswick is a must for enthusiasts and Upfront Gallery will delight your taste buds while you browse the work of local artists and sculptors.
Penrith is a delightful market town with individual speciality shops selling foods and clothing, art and gifts. There are cafes aplenty in which to savour lunch or simply enjoy afternoon tea. Penrith hosts many restaurants from around the world, including Indian, Chinese, Italian, Polish, Spanish and of course Cumbrian cuisine.
A ferry trip along one of the lakes is a must. You can choose from Ullswater or Derwentwater and take in the breathtaking scenery.
